Halina Roy es una vieja cámara de 127 mm que usé para la primera parte de mi trabajo: una veintena de paisajes nebulosos. En la segunda parte utilicé una cámara digital para tomar varios retratos a escala natural: son en blanco y negro, de grano evidente y con una pareja de personajes siniestros posando. 

        Cuando Freddy Krueger recita una frase para educar a sus víctimas antes de asesinarlas en sus sueños, se revela como un mentor cínico. Aunque sin frase y en silencio, ese tipo de actitud es la misma que poseen los personajes de mis retratos, al menos uno de cada pareja. Ellos no son monstruos sometedores como Freddy, pero al mirarlos y luego de un repentino extrañamiento, parecieran serlo.		 Halina Roy is an old 127 mm camera that I used for the first part of my work: twenty nebulous landscapes. In the second part I used a digital camera to take several portraits on a natural scale: they are in black and white, of evident grain and with a couple of sinister characters posing.

        When Freddy Krueger recites a phrase to educate his victims before murdering them in their dreams, is revealed as a cynical  mentor. Although without phrase and in silence, that kind of attitude is the same that have the characters in my portraits, at least one of each pair. They are not monsters like Freddy, but by looking at them and after a sudden estrangement, they seem to be.
